How to connect the video processors to NovaLCT via USB or Ethernet Cable
In this article, we will be addressing how to connect the video processor (VX6S, VX600, or VX1000) to NovaLCT using a USB/Ethernet cable.
Step 1: Identify your video processor. The name of the video processor will be on the front of the device. (VX6S, VX600, VX1000)
Step 2: Locate the USB/Ethernet control port on the video processor. There is a label on the port(s).
Step 3: Use either a USB to USB-A cable or an Ethernet cable and connect the video processor to the computer with NovaLCT.
Step 4: Log in to NovaLCT.
Step 5: Once you are logged in, click on the Screen Configuration button.
Step 6: On “Select Communication Port”, it should be set to either USB or Ethernet depending on your connection to the video processor. If the field is blank with no options, try using USB instead of Ethernet or vice versa. Make sure the cables are plugged in correctly.
Step 5: Ensure “Configure Screen” is selected and click “Next”.
NovaLCT is now connected to your video processor. Refer to the other articles for how to push screen configuration files and receiving card configuration files to the video processor.
