How to load receiving card configuration files onto your video wall using NovaLCT

In this article, we will be addressing how to upload receiving card configuration files onto NovaLCT.

Step 1: Identify the location of your specific receiving card configuration file. The file type will always be ".rcfgx"


Step 2: Log in to NovaLCT.

Step 3: Once you are logged in, click on the Screen Configuration button.

Step 4: On “Select Communication Port”, it should already be set to either USB or Ethernet depending on your connection to the video processor. If not, please ensure your cable is connected properly.

Step 5: Ensure “Configure Screen” is selected and click “Next”.

Step 6: The “Screen Configuration-______” window will appear. Select the tab “Receiving Card”.


Step 7: Click the “Load from File” button, located at the bottom.

Step 8: The program will now prompt you to upload your receiving card configuration file to NovaLCT. Locate your file and click “Open”.


Step 9: Once the file is uploaded, click the “Send to Receiving Card” button, at the bottom right.

Step 10: A popup will appear, called “Send Parameters to Receiving Card”. Two different options will be available.

All Receiving Card: Send the receiving card configuration information to all the receiving cards loaded by the

current multimedia player. If you select Reset the Starting Coordinate of Receiving Card, the starting

coordinates of all the receiving cards will be reset to (0, 0). As a result, all the receiving cards display the top-left

image of the input source.

Specify Receiving Card:  Send the receiving card configuration information to the specified receiving card by

topology or by physical address.

Depending on your needs, select one and click "Send".


Step 11: Wait for the program to finish sending the screen information.

Step 12: Click “OK”.

Step 13: Now locate the “Save” button and click it.

If it asks if you would like to back up the system configuration file, click “OK”.

Step 14: Close the prompt.

Step 15: Click “Close” at the bottom right.
